Uses :
Brick - Natural Stone - Concrete Paving - Porcelain Tile
Wood / Plywood - Glass - Composite materials
Coverage : Coverage depends on the size of the application area.
For example, 5 mm wide by 5 mm deep, a 600 ml sausage will cover 50 linear feet.
If the surface is 8 mm wide by 6 mm deep, one 600 ml sausage will cover 40 linear feet.
Operating Temperature :
Above 0°C
Storage :
Store StickyStone in its original, undamaged packaging in a clean, dry, protected area at temperatures between 5 and 43 ˚C (40 to 110 ˚F).
Packaging :
600 ml size
Preparation :
• Dry fit materials to ensure proper fit before applying adhesive.
• Surfaces must be clean, dry and free of frost, grease and contaminants.
• Roughen non-porous surfaces for optimum adhesion.
• StickyStone will generally adhere to most construction substrates without priming.
It is recommended to perform if a primer is required.
• Adhere a small sample of materials to ensure good adhesion.
Application :
• Cut the tip of the applicator gun to the desired line size.
• Remove the clip to open the package, then place the cartridge in the gun.
• Apply a bead of adhesive to one side of the substrate to be bonded, making sure there is enough; for large areas,
apply parallel beads approximately 75 mm (3") apart to allow an air space between them space between them.
• StickyStone is a moisture-curing adhesive. Therefore, a surface must be porous to allow moisture to
allow
moisture to penetrate. Avoid adhesive patterns that would prevent contact with moisture in the air.
• Immediately join the components to bond them.
• Bond strength usually develops after 10 minutes.
Cleaning :
• Remove excess adhesive immediately with xylene or mineral spirits.
• Once cured, the adhesive should be removed mechanically.
Application Tips :
• For materials over 73 kg/m2 (15 lb/ft2), apply additional adhesive beads.
• Allow the bottom row of leveling materials to cure for 15 minutes before installing additional rows
before installing additional rows to support the top rows.
• Apply at temperatures above 32°F (0°C) to ensure proper cure.
• One of the two surfaces must be porous to allow the adhesive to cure.
